The 15th edition of the Gulf Research Meeting has just come to a close, offering an exceptional platform for dialogue and exchange. Together with Steven Velegrinis, I had the privilege of presenting our research exploring the anticipated transformations of Dubai’s urban morphology in response to the exponential rise in traffic flows. Over two intensive days of workshop sessions, we engaged in stimulating discussions with fellow scholars and practitioners, delving into strategies for mitigating pollution and reducing environmental impact across the Arabian Gulf region.
