The final evening of the Middle East Landscape Award marks the conclusion of my role as a juror for this year's edition. The evident increase in the quality of design proposals highlights the success of this event and confirms the growth of the discipline within the Arabian Gulf's built environment.
I was particularly pleased to note the significant improvement in student submissions. Seeing such progress in a category that has historically struggled is excellent news for the future of our profession, with Lebanese universities clearly leading the way in terms of quality.
I would like to thank the organizers for their kind invitation and for the privilege of joining them to honor Steven Velegrinis with the Lifetime Achievement Award. See you next year!
